We are delighted to report that a new local Society for lovers of art is now open for membership.
The Arts Society Victoria is part of The Arts Society (previously NADFAS), a leading arts education charity with a global network of 385 local Societies, which bring people together through a shared curiosity for the arts.
The Arts Society Victoria is busy creating an exciting lecture programme, which will commence at 7pm on Tuesday 6th November 2018 at The Grey Coat Hospital School, Greycoat Place, London SW1P 2DY when Leslie Primo will explore the influence of foreign artists on British art in his talk “Foreigners in London 1520-1677: artists who changed the course of British Art”.
We welcome new members and are a friendly, inviting Society. As a member you will enjoy ten evening lectures a year running from November to October at 7pm (lectures will not be held in January or August of each year). We meet on the first Tuesday of the month with the exception of June when we meet on the second Tuesday. Doors will be open from 6.30pm with wine and soft drinks available before and after each lecture. Full details of the lecture programme for 2018/2019 will be available soon on our website: theartssociety.org/victoria.
If you wish to become a member, please complete and return the membership form, which can be found on our website: click here.
