The first Warwick Square garden party for twenty months was a great success on Thursday 2nd September. More than fifty people took the opportunity to meet neighbours for a good chat, lubricated by champagne provided by the Tennis Committee from the record revenues during Covid and supplemented by party-goers. Several people brought plates of food. The weather was perfect and the fun went on well into the night.
Thanks go to head gardener Sarah Syborn, who organised the event and decorated the garden with magical lights, and to our assiduous bar supervisor Paolo Valente, who kept everyone topped up.
Another garden gathering is planned around Christmas, and there could even be a party before then if there is a settled spell of good weather.
