This was a sort of performance piece. As part of a durational performance at Royal Festival Hall during the Unlimited Festival last weekend, I made this 1960s style dress onstage (with the help of the audience) out of a 1960s duvet given to me by a friend’s Mum. I promised to wear it to the last summer cocktail party of the year and to my delight it was appraised by none other than the author of The Sloane Ranger Handbook who knows a thing or two about 60s style!
